Experience and development as a McNair Scholar:
I have a better understanding of what research encompasses in higher education. I’m very grateful for McNair because this program helped me become a better scholar for the field I’m going to pursue. It is a once in a life-time chance to receive the information pertinent for graduate school preparation which has not readily available to me as a first generation college student.
